All work is done with professional, personalized blueprints showing all details of construction. Once the job is started, it will flow through to completion in an efficient and timely manner. We have extensive experience in the area of multi-trade construction coordination, along with a good working relationship with all local building departments, so inspections are easily coordinated for reduced downtimes. What is Kopke's Remodeling Process

At Kopke, we understand that everyone has unique priorities when it comes to remodeling. With over 30 years of experience, we have refined our process to meet diverse needs. However, we recognize that our approach may not suit everyone. Explore our process in detail to see if it aligns with your vision and expectations!

At our 1st meeting, we will:

Listen & Discuss

Listen to what you like and don't like about your current home as well as your goals, needs & desires for your remodeling project. Discuss remodel or design possibilities & desired investment comfort zone. Consultant will also take basic measurements, pictures of your space and will schedule an appointment for you to come to our showroom for product selections.

During the Discovery Phase:

Selection & Design

Customer and Consultant come into Kopke's 8,000 square foot showroom to make selections, discuss design options and set up for a CAD or 3D rendering. If a client would like to receive a CAD drawing of their project (1-2 weeks), we will set an appointment for a Design Measure of the customers home. Typically within the week. If no CAD drawing is desired, and selections have been made, everything will be sent over to pricing to be completed (1-2 days).

Design & Proposal Review:

Review the Design & Proposal in detail

Our CAD drawings and proposals are very detailed. An appointment with the consultant and client will be set to review the proposal in full detail.

Post Design / Pre Construction

Before we start actual construction, we will:

Apply for the building permit. Release all purchase orders to all vendors and commit for work to be completed. Prepare the construction packet for your Project Manager. Schedule the pre-construction team meeting. The Project Manager will be in contact to provide scheduling updates. Once your project is scheduled, your Project Manager will be in contact with you to announce the scheduled start date.

Construction Begins:

During construction, we will:

Update you on work that is being performed, schedule changes, or any changes that make affect the cost or scope of the project. Meet with you to address any concerns and questions that may arise during construction. Make your dream home your reality. We want to make sure that we can make your home remodel story a great one!

Post Construction:

After the construction and production on your remodel project is complete, we will::

Deliver your warranty & information packet. We will provide a list of all product selections & finishes for your records, product care instructions & specific warranty information. Check in with you to see how you are enjoying the work we performed for you & see if there is anything we need to adjust. We want you to love the enhancements to your home – and share your experience with others who would benefit from our services.
